Manifest
The Manifest portfolio photographs are images of objects
held in various collections throughout the region of
central and western New York State. During a visiting
faculty appointment at RIT, I became interested in the
intersection of various spiritual, social, and
philosophical movements associated with the region. These
images are representations of objects, documents, and
images concerned with the issues of slavery and freedom
for African Americans. The prints are pigment inkjet, 22"
x 28.5" on 24" x 32" sheets.
